A stylish little neighborhood cocktail bar with yes, beer and wine, but cocktails are more the thing. Fruit features in many house concoctions, but in memorable supporting roles. The Phoenix Down, for example–a sort of bourbon mule, shaken–is a great, less booze-forward alternative to an old fashioned. It has a small menu of small bites including oysters, toasts, and shrimp cocktail and there are stamped tin ceilings, reclaimed light fixtures, vine-like metalwork.
